Hi All,
I am getting an error of " Status "401 - Unauthorized" is returned." while trying to import excel data from an URL.
I am using basic authentication for data source as MS excel file.

Also, to add, is any firewall proxy setting required for this sort of activity as the web server i am trying to access to get the excel file from is protected by a firewall.
Kindly let me know how i can resolve this issue.

The message tells us that you have wrong usercredentials used. I just have asked the aris team wich user is to use. In the Excel-Sourceoperator on mashzone side you have to insert the usercerdentials of the user who has cerate the sceduled report on aris side.
If you have the right user please check the logfiles in the serviceenabling service for more informations.
