Hello,
I am brand new to ARIS and looking into it's functionality for a client. Can anybody provide input into how Requirements are captured with ARIS? Can business requirements be directly applied to processes in some sort of table format?

Any assistance or information you could provide would be much appreciated.

Typically requirements are captured using Requirement Tree and Requirement Allocation Digram. Also, the requirements are attached to projects using Work Breakdown Structure.

Thanks Dr. Kal. These are internal to the Business Architect program, correct?

Yes!! However you could use IT Architect as well to capture the requirements.

Hi,

Requirements Tree, Requirements Allocation Diagramm and Work Breakdown Structure are model types of the ARIS method.

They are  not restricted to any product, so they could be created/used in any Architect but any ARIS Business Designer also.

Bye,

Frank
