Dear Community,
I would like to ask for help with the following issue. I have an ARIS 9.8 installed on our server and I've set up the email notification on password change / reset fuction on the administration page. It send out an email with the specified text but I can't find the way to send out the new generated password for the users.
Can anyone explain it to me hot to do that, bevause I could not find it in the manuals or in the forum here.

You can open the UMC and select an user, and you have the option 'Generate Password' on the menu on the top right and will generate a pwd to the user. In this case your user will get an e-mail with the details.
If the user doesn't receive any e-mail, please check the log file on the ARIS Server :
...\work\work_umcadmin_x\base\logs\umc.log
This log have the details with some errors and can help to fix in case some bad stmp configuration for example.
Also on the UMC keep the debug output enabled, 'configuration > smtp > advanced settings'
