Hello everyone,
Here is my problem, I have several activities with linked document (using the link attribute). Theses links are displayed using the "attribute placement" button. Then I'm moving the link so that the Internet Explorer Icon and the name of the link don't interfeer with the model itself and don't overlap text. Basically I want the left of the icon to be just under the left of the object.
So far, no problem.
Now if I switch from English to another language (French in our case), the position of the link as changed since the name of the link is not the same lenght in both languages.
I've tried to use the "Alignement" option but that doesn't do it.
As soon as I fix the position in English the one in French is misplace and vice-versa.
I look like the attributes position are centered by default.
Any solution for that?
I'm on 7.02
Thanks
Samuel

I'm afraid in ARIS 7.02 there is no way to enhance this behavior. But I will double check and come back to you if I find a solution.
The best way would be to migrate to ARIS 7.1. With this version we introduced a complete new behavior for attributes. Attributes now can be formatted free, e.g. font, color and style. You are also able to define a fix box that restricts the size of the attribute and place this box wherever you want. With this 7.1 functionality it will be no problem to create a good layout of the model in different languages.
