Is there a way to use the "old", "standard" symbol for modeling an EPC?
You can find an example of the symbols in the attached picture.

Hi Julian,
in addition to the contents in this post: http://www.ariscommunity.com/users/davidjohannesmeyer/2014-08-14-aris-96-old-templates you need a user-account with db-admin function rights and after changing the palette to the classical style you need to log-off and log-in to the desired database again.
Hope that is matching your aims

thank you for the hint, but I am using ARIS Express. It seems, that it's not working as ARIS in this case.

You are right, this is not possible in Express. You need the full version to be able to change an ARIS template.
