One of my team member recently changed laptop and hence had a new installation of ARIS. Now the report wizard window is not launching. The Semantic check window pops-up but the report does not run.
Earlier we saw an issue with Java version. The current ARIS version supports Java 1.6 and we have this version in the laptop.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
Note: We are accessing the database from a remote business server and not a local database. ARIS version is 7.2.3b
Are you using VPN by any chance? If so, it could be the same bug that is giving me trouble. In some cases the report dialog boxes do not come up when the user is operating over VPN. I have been asking for a fix for this for two years, still waiting ; latest ETA is "in the fall" (2013, that is . . . supposedly . . . )
