Hey there!
I just installed the ARIS free student version, Unfortunately I can't figure out how to set the bpmn 2.0 standard palette for the objects. The ones I can model with are with a white background, the ones I'm looking for are those which have the coloured background, the same I hade in ARIS Express. Can anyone tell me if that function to change the shapes is locked for the studen version or how to change them?

Hi Marco,
comparing the icons of http://www.bpmn.org/ with the icons we offer in ARIS 9, it seems to me as though the white-background-icons would be the standard, if there is any.
However, if you are not satisfied with certain symbols, you can simply create your own ones. Please have a look at part 3 "ARIS Architect Administartion" of our exercises for the exact doing.
In any case, student versions of ARIS are no different from the commercial counterparts. There are no restrictions!
If anybody already has created a "Template" with the desired symbol appearances, please share!
