I am searching for a ARIS 9.8 Architect&Designer (Client) download possibility. We have an 40GB adb which can't be opened in our old 7.2 Archive solution and I would like to open it with 9.8 to get few Objects out of it.
At the ARIS Download Center is only the Version 10 available but I found a location where Students can download a Version 9.8 https://www.ariscommunity.com/university/downloads (I didn't have a student account)

I am not quite sure what "abg" format is. Maybe it is so old it is beyond my experience (which starts at 7.2 in 2012). I know only of the "adb" format. You can migrate any database backup files from 7.2.4 upwards to 9.8. Due to some conceptual changes in the user management there are a few things to observe in that migration from 7.2.4+ to 9.x. From the latest 9.8 version it is possible to migrate the data to ARIS 10. I would suggest you let Software AG Support help you with the migration path. Anyway, if your data is indeed even older, you first have to find the migration path to 7.2.4+ and as I understand that is the core problem you have. 9.8 will not import anything older than 7.2.4. The support guys are the ones to turn to.

Sorry the abg was a typo. It is of course the adb format from the 7.2 Version. The issue that we have is not related to a migration from 7.2 to 9.8 or 10 which was already done in 2020. We have this old adb Archive which kept old Objects before 2020. We have an existing Server which have a Verion 9.8 installed but has limited space on the Harddisk and i would like to setup a single 9.8 Architect&Designer on a standalone Machine. Unfortunately can't I find any Installation Media / Zip file for a 9.8 Installation and hope that someone can support me in this.
