ARIS Spreedsheet functionality

Full support for attributes with units (Times and Efforts) is implemented in new ARIS 9.8. In 9.8, user can perform correct calculations with these combined attributes, he can create new constants and write results with selected unit back in to ARIS attributes. Support is present in Spreadsheet models, Query builder and Ad hoc analysis.

I have another question, maybe you can help me.

I want in querry to Sum column D related to column A ( results is in column E).

  A                    B                 C                   D                           E

Function  Relaltionship   Position         CostRate      Sum_CostRate(position)

A                carries out        P1           1,00 EUR             3,00 EUR

A                carries out        P2           2,00 EUR

B                carries out        P3           1,00 EUR             1,00 EUR

Only I can do in Querry builder is to sum all data from column D.

Do you have any suggestion?

Hi Mijo,

find the query in the attached screenshot. The trick is to merge two rows at the group criterion in the spreadsheet to gain another row per function, where you can place the sum.

The sum of all cost is done with the function "=SUM(D4)".

You can also create a custom report which outputs the information you've requested into an Excel Spreadsheet and then do all manipulations and calculations that are required to the data before it is output. Custom Reporting Solutions are very powerful, but strong knowledge of programming capability will be required. Thats what I do :-)

How do you export information that is on the spreadsheet in a report. I am thinking about exporting the table to the PDF report.
