Dear All
Trying my best to deliver the best value to our customer in a short period of time. I need help guiding me through the key difference and brief description of the following (Examples and external links are more than welcome):
- Differences between modeling processes using EPC Notation vs. BPM Notation 2.0, and recommended cases for using each
- Difference between Process maps, Workflow diagrams, Process guides, Operation guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Thanks a lot in advance
I am currently using ARIS express and planning to upgrade to ARIS Enterprise
Hi Mohamed,
did you already have a look at our BPM Glossary? There you'll find a description for BPMN and EPC and you can download the cheat sheets for both to get you started and share it with your customers.
Hope that helps,
Christina
- BPMN is a standard notation
- BPMN is more precise than EPC
- EPC is often used in the SAP ecosystem
