Hello all,
I know that there have been quite a lot of discussions around ARIS and SolMan integration, however I can not find clear answer to the questions I have, thus I hope you may help me here.
Currently we have been using ARIS to document business processes and now we would like to synchronize all the contect existing in ARIS to SolMan. SolMan has not been used before, therefore there are no project structure defined and setup for sync not done yet. While reading many articles and forums - it seems that there should be no problem to perfom the sync. But my question here is - where to start? Which approach to choose - should we start synchronizing full ARIS content into SolMan? And how then to map today existing 6 ARIS levels into 3 levels at SolMan? Or should the synchronization be done seperately for each Business Scenario, Process and Processes step?
Looking forward to you reply.
Thanks,
Moni
Hi Moni,
everything starts in SolMan, create a project there (type template / implementation / etc). Define your project details, system landscape. After this, connect ARIS to the created SolMan project and download the project to ARIS.
It is important that you follow the 3 level structure of SolMan. This means that you need to eveluate with the business what is your scenario, process and process step level. You need to maintain all sync attributes and after this you can sync everything into SolMan.
