Hi,
Our team have developed a few process maps which is residing in a database (say db1). We are looking at either
1. Renaming the existing database name (say from db1 to db2) or
2. Creating a new database (db2) and copying the contents/maps from db1 to db2
Both these are options are disabled in ARIS process live. Could you please let us know if there are any alternative ways to get around this.
Thanks
Moorthy
Hi Moorthy, I had more or less the same request and got as feedback that it will be forwarded to product management; there it will be taken in account when planning future releases... As a workaround the team could export the model enabling to import it in another ProcessLive Project room again.
See below my feature request:
I've created several databases with each an own directory structure. Several features I would like to have:
1. copy a model from database-A to Database-2, because the structures are almost equal (in Aris7 I would create a template / buildingblock for it).
2. Link/assign an object from database-A to a model of Database-B; e.g. refer in a process diagram to the enterprise HR-organizational chart.
3. When linking/assigning an object to a detailed model get an overview from the repository which models are already known.
