I'm building high level models that only use one pool and one swimlane. The entire model is in one swimlane. I'm trying to size these so if the models are viewed on a web portal then they should be about the size of the computer screen, and if they are printed then they should be about the size of an 8 x 11 paper. Well, BPa has allowed me to make as many size changes as I want, but just when I get close to that ideal size it says "ok. you've changed my size enough. be happy with what you have." I'm not happy with what I have.

Now, whenever I try to adjust the size of pool or swimlane, the "ghost lines" are there and stick where I want to change to be made, but no changes are actually made to the model.

Whenever I try to add or remove space to pool or swimlane, the "ghost lines" are there again but nothing happens to the model.

Why is BPA doing this and what can I do to make it stop?

Thank youu

Ryan

Dear Ryan,

Which version are using?

And could you provide a screenshot of what you have and what you want, then the ARIS users here could better understand what's wrong and make suggestions how to overcome that issue.

Cheers

Dear Ryan,

I am not using Oracle BPA Suite, an OEM of ARIS Platform. Have you contacted Oracle support or Global Support ARIS arissupport@softwareag.com?

Sorry can't help here. I would guess that the movement can't take place when the right end of your selection hits already the right border of your swimlane. But that's just a guess.

Cheers
