"In SR24 you need always a "fresh" downloaded file as this file contains a one-time token with your user name identification. Based on that you will be automatically logged in to Architect with the same user name as you logged in to your project room."
Since this change, the security may be better, however, the user experience is not. I now need 5 clicks (logon to ARIS Cloud; Click on Download Clients; Download; Click "Keep"; Open JAR file) to run the ARIS Advanced Architect Client, whereas beforehand, I only needed to run the JAR file once.
Is there a way of improving on the user experience while maintaining security? I know this is always a difficult balance, but it's swung too far in the wrong direction in my opinion.
If you look at new Advanced accounts, they are already without ARIS Architect. So I think the direction is obvious - they want us to go to the web-based thing. Why it is happening - it is challenging to say.
Mark, what could help you. I set up an automatic page refresher in the browser (e.g. there are a lot of free stuff for Chrome), so at least you can skip the first step.
