I would also state that the purpose of the general Event shape in BPMN is to represent when various states (or milestones) are reached. When I model, I use events for this purpose (i.e. Funding Approved, Signature Received, All Items Received, etc.)

Hi,
There are no flow diagrams that can support two dimensions for activities (tbh, the BPMN does not support this at all).
Everything that is possible to do is to 'fake' these milestones with graphic elements (using Insert tools or external picture):These VACDs on the picture are graphics, not real objects.
Of course, this will not allow you to extract the information about your milestones with reports, but it also depends on the craft of your script programmer.

Hello Naira.
if your focus is only on activities and states and not on roles/departments doing these activities, you can use the BPMN concept of pools and lanes. Create a pool with lanes representing the states. You are free to name the lanes as you want and you can create reports based on these lanes. By default pools and lanes are horizontal oriented but you can move it with the cursor to a vertical form.

Hello Klemens,
Actually, I also thought about it, but I also need the roles/departments.
Thanks,

Hi Robert.
I understand we have the Event shape, and it can be used represent milestones. But my team wants to use a different milestones format on the page. This is a new tool for us, and we are still in the process to acclimating to it and understand its full range of capabilities.
Thanks for your response.
