Hi,

In my project we had our own repository for modelling and we are using the "Entire Method' filter for it.

Later on we got the clients repository. I believe we were not told as to which filter to use and we again switched to 'Entire Method' filter for the clients repository. Later on I came to know that the clients also use the same filter.

Now my query is:

Can the clients repository be more customised to their requirements than ours? I believe the filter is the basic level of customisation and if we use the same filter then the customisation level is the same for both repositories.

Thats indicates that I can model in our project repository or the Clients repository, its the same from the customisation point of view.

Please advise.

Regards

NL

Hi Nelson,

another difference might be the license key you use. For example, if your customer has a SAP license key, he will get additional method elements, which you might not have.

Nelson,

You can generate a filter from the client DB. Then only use that filter to work on the client DB. Probably this would be easier than Entire method. Entire method can be very confusing if someone does not have a good knowledge of the method description in ARIS.
