We are thrilled to announce that the ARIS Idea Portal has successfully migrated to a new Aha instance! This move includes all your valuable ideas and votes, ensuring a seamless transition for our community. Your comments will have to be migrated manually, which we will accomplish in the coming 2 - 3 weeks.

You can explore the new portal using the established Ideas Portal URL https://aris.ideas.aha.io/

What Stays the Same?

Rest assured, the core functionalities remain unchanged. As a logged-in user, you can:

  • Create new ideas
  • Vote on existing ideas
  • Comment on existing ideas
  • Track the progress of your ideas
What's New?
  1. To enhance security and protect proprietary information, the idea portal is now private. This means you must be logged in to work with the Ideas Portal.
  2. All migrated ideas have received new ID's within the new instance. That means their URLs have changed as well. If you have bookmarked ideas via their URL, please update those bookmarks.
  3. We have updated the color scheme of the ideas portal to reflect the ARIS brand colors.
  4. Images attached to ideas could not be migrated. But not to worry, our PM team has all images associated with ideas secured and will save them.
  5. We are adding Single-Sign-On to the ARIS idea portal via the ARIS Community. That means, you will be able to use your ARIS Community credentials to sign into the Ideas Portal.  Please see detailed steps on how to sign in below:

How to Sign in to the New ARIS Ideas Portal

How to Sign in to the New ARIS Ideas Portal

When you want to sign in to the ARIS Ideas Portal, you will get redirected to ARIS Community. Please sign in or register there using the same e-mail address you use for the ARIS Ideas Portal.
You will be asked to allow the ARIS Ideas Portal access to your e-mail address, user and profile information from the ARIS Community. This is important to match the user credentials for both instances and make sure that the Single-Sign-On works smoothly.

Users that are Already Registered in the ARIS Ideas Portal and the ARIS Community:
  • If you are registered in both instances using the same e-mail address, no actions from you are necessary.
  • If you are registered in both instances using different e-mail addresses, please change your e-mail address in the ARIS Community to match the e-mail address you are using for access to the ARIS Ideas Portal. This step is important for you to keep the ideas, votes and comments associated with your user credentials in the ARIS Ideas Portal.
Users that are Already Registered in the ARIS Ideas Portal BUT not in the ARIS Community:
  • Please register in the ARIS Community to get access to the new instance of the ARIS Ideas Portal. Please make sure to use the same e-mail address that you are using for access to the ARIS Ideas Portal. This is important for you to keep the ideas, votes and comments associated with your user credentials in the ARIS Ideas Portal.
Users That are Already Registered in the ARIS Community and not in the ARIS Ideas Portal:
  • Congratulations, you have now access to the ARIS Ideas Portal as well. No further actions are necessary.

How to find your ideas

During the migration all ideas have been assigned new IDs. That means your direct links and bookmarks to your ideas will not work anymore.
We are aware that that causes some inconvenience and we are sorry about that. We would have liked to prevent this but for technical reason this wasn't possible.

In order to access your ideas quickly in the new ARIS Ideas Portal please follow the outlined steps:

  • Either, you can use the following link https://aris.ideas.aha.io/?my_ideas=true
  • or else, once you are logged in the ARIS Ideas Portal and have been redirected to the overview dashboard, click on the 'My ideas' link on the left of the screen (please see the image below).

Important Note

We are prioritizing giving you access to the new Ideas Portal as quickly as possible. As a result, some statistics, especially for merged ideas, might not fully reflect the previous instance. We are aware of this and will continue to perform clean-up and maintenance in the background. And, as mentioned above, we will manually migrate your comments in the next 2 - 3 weeks.

Do Have Feedback or Questions?

Please let us know how you like the new ARIS Ideas Portal in the comments. Also, if you have questions, please use the comments in this article. We'll monitor them and get back to.

Thank you for your ongoing engagement and ideas. We look forward to even more collaboration in the future!
