ØE

My profile has been changed and I am no longer an administrator after the upgrade. Please reset my user privileges.

I cannot load models for editing.

The old cloud version cannot be logged on to.

Hi

What is the message you get here " no longer an administrator after the upgrade "?

How could you identify the issue?

What is the name of your project room?

regards

Christoph

Hello and thanks for fast reply.

The project room is called simcorp.

I am able to log on, but my administrator rights are no longer active as can be seen from the snip below. Neither I nor my admin co-workers can change this status.

Dear Øyvind ,

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. There seems to be a misunderstanding. The fact that the "Administrator" role is grayed out does not mean that the role is inactive. It means that you're currently logged in to the Administration area. So the role is actually grayed out because it makes no sense that a user can remove this role while being in the Administration area.

I hope this will help you.

Kind regards,

Eva

Can you launch the project room by clicking it?

The user management is now within the Cloud software. Please go to settings and then user management. There you should be able to assign the administrator privilege.

Hello

As stated above I cannot change my status. Also when a co-worker with admin rights changed my status, the change is not effectuated.

Hello

I can select the project room, and when I launch it the regular portal is opening. When I try to edit a model, the component is not loaded and it stays on this status until I close it.

When opening PLADMIN_eu.ariscloud.com_simcorp, nothing happens. I have tried to update Java, without that changing anything.

Dear Øyvind

I apologize for the inconvenience. We are working on solving the problem related to your ARIS Cloud project room and will keep you informed.

We checked the “Edit model” problem and found out that this is a known issue that should be solved with the next ARIS Cloud update.

Till then, you can use the following workaround:

  • Log in as an administrator
  • Start PLADMIN
  • Rename the databases (while being logged out from databases), and remove the dots wherever they exist

    Rename database

After you have removed the dots, editing models should be working again

If there is no user who can access PLADMIN, please let us know.

As far as the second problem is concerned, we are still trying to find out the reason. Maybe you have the same problem that I have. If so, the following procedure can help you: Open the console in the download folder of the jar and try to start PLADMIN using “java -jar  PLADMIN_eu.ariscloud.com_simcorp.jar”.

Kind regards,

Eva

That did the trick - components are loading and the admin portal opens. Thanks.
