Hi,

I have several instances where by an attribute shown on a model, for example "Name", has been formatted on the model and that formatting also appears in the "Properties".  Is there a way to have attributes visible on models and formatted, but not have that attribute formatted in properties?

Hi Scott,

this is possible.

You have to define a "font format". To do this, go to the administration module (available only in Business Architect) and create a "font format" - you can find them directly under your database node in the explorer. In the designer choose this in the "Insert model attribue" dialog. For already placed attributes, just open the property dialog  and find them in the "Format->Model attributes" page.

Hi Sascha,

Thanks for this.

So I understand the first part and can create the "font format" then apply to new "insert...".  However, for already placed attributes I don't quite follow.  Could you possibly elaborate on this part please? Especially "Format>Model attributes" page, as I can't see where this would be performed.

Regards

Scott

So, for existing attributes, just double click on them (or use ALT+Enter or use the Property menu action from main or context menu). Then a dialog appears, where you can find the "attribute" and "model attributes" pages. Just click on model attributes. Then you can assign a font format to the seleceted attribute on the right side of the dialog.

Hello,

I have a problem, I can't see the format that I have created in Administration.

I have using Aris Architect 9.5.

When I am designing a model, and I select dynamic text, in the tab Format, in font format, my new font format doesn't appear.

I need to assign the "font format" to an object (Function, for example) in a template to see the "font format".

For example, I have created two "font format":

- company-name

- company-id

And I have assigned the "font formats" to the attributes through a template.

Now, my new "font formats" appear.

But, we have a problem with a header that we have created with a fragment (pattern).

Our fragment have dynamic text of our model attributes. Like example: Name of the model, creator, last date, etc...

How can assign the font format created for these attributes, to these attributes?

Thank you very much in advance.

Greetings.
