At the beginning of our project, there has been requirements set. One of them is:
"As Vattenfall users we want to have up to date tool documentation in place so that users can read about the tool and functions."
What is the documentation you have in place for ARIS? Do you maintain a specific manual? Related to this is maybe the question: How to you train and educate your users in the system?
At the moment, I have provide the following support:
- ARIS help (which I do not find too bad, helpful when searching for a certain buzzword)
- I maintain a dedicated Sharepoint with information around ARIS (I am hesitant to pour this into a manual document since I find it more appealing on Sharepoint)
- Providing online classroom training, supported by some video snippets (hosted on the Sharepoint), more training videos likely to come and shifting from online session to video training over time
- Face to face classroom training is planned to maintain good contact to the users
- Ticket system
Happy if you like to share some insights into your organisation of ARIS support to the organisation.
Regards, Olaf
P. S. This is not about modelling conventions, but rather how to technically use system related to the role in the system, e. g. how to request access, how to run the semantic check, how the RCM works
