Hello
I want to change the host name of the ARIS server... But, i do not find in the documentation an explanation for that, and when i a search in the SoftwareAG directory on my server, i do not find a config file where the host name could be changed...
any idea... ?
Probably that's very easy, and i apologize in this case...
regards
pam
Dear PAM,
Have you tried to google ARIScommunity.com for your topic? The first and second search results will probably help you:
- http://www.ariscommunity.com/users/ben-parris/2014-11-20-migrate-aris-9-connect-server-new-host

I reuse this post even if it's apparently a new issue, but it's in the context...
the migration is OK and the server is running, even if all LDAP synchronisation have been lost ? I'm reseting it...
but the documentation request to run an "updatesystem" on tenants except default
and when i try to connect to a tenant using ARIS server administrator, i have systematically the error "password incorrect"... I tried with the defaults password "manager" and with the old specific one i had...
regards,
pam
Have you checked in which condition your other tenants are via ACC command list tenants?
In ARIS Server Administrator you should be able to connect to them the same way as for #default:
server localhost default system manager
Replace localhost with your ARIS server name, and replace manager in case the password has been changed.

thanks rune,
back from scotland (highlands are really amazing...), i read your answer only now... I hope your holidays were beautiful...
the situation today...
all tenants are active
but for default, the migration has reinitialized the password of user system to manager (?), and in ASS, i can connect to the default tenant, using localhost as servername, not the dns name... Perhaps because of the server name change ?
and for others tenants, i don't know... the password i set before the migration, and "manager" do not work...
so, i can't connect to others tenants in ASS

pam
Did you check the other tenants for potential duplicated license keys?
The URL http://localhost/#tenant1/adminLicenses lets you check in tenant tenant1 logged in either as system/manager or as superuser/superuser
- whether there were license keys imported (page is not empty) and
- whether they are valid, more precisely unique (not warning signs shown).
Cheers

a new case for this old issue...
After installing ARIS 10 connect to test collaborative aspects, i need to change the servername to have both ARIS9 and ARIS10 on separate server..
I was happy to have already the solution in ACC, reconfigure loadbalancer_m HTTPD.servername "newservername"
but i have a strange message... line 1:44 Missing EQ at 'new server name'
any idea ?
