Hello,
as the title states we are planning to migrate our ARIS software on win server 2008 or 2012. Is the version 7.2 still supported on either of them? Or do we have to upgrade on 9.6 completely?

Dear Paul,
ARIS 7.2 including all products you have listed up are supporting Windows 2008 (and R2). However, ARIS 7 has never been tested/released for Windows 2012.
And since the very last version of ARIS 7.2, Service Release 7, has been released in late Dec last year, we are not planning to release another 7.2 version.
An upgrade to newest ARIS 9.8 is my recommendation. That offers you the chance to get in touch with ARIS Connect, a completely browser-based "2-in-1" product:
