Issue with language in EPCs

Dear folks,

I am currently facing an issue with the language set in my EPC models.

I had to make my processes in English, although I forgot that my database was configured for Spanish (standard language when I log in).

Now I've got all my EPCs in written in English, but in a database configured to Spanish. When I merge it to an English database I just loose all the texts I have inserted.

Does anybody know if it is possible to change the language already set to a model?

I want to keep my texts and "tell" ARIS that they are written in English, and not in Spanish.

Hi, you can use standard ARIS script "Export attributes for translation" for main group and then you can use script "Import translated attributes" for data base. More details later, sorry, should run

I want to know about the conversion to spanish. I have models in English.

1) How do I convert a model to Spanish in the same database?

2) When I export the attributes to XLS, the spanish language is left blank. It should be converted right? Or should we plug in the Spanish text there?

3) Are there any custom or automatic routines to convert the English to spanish models?

Hi!

Just translate your attributes in XLS (yes, this is blank column), then you should import translated attributes and log in to database with Spanish language. Yes, when you import you can choose which language you want.

Help me.....my Aris is version 7.2.

I am created a project in english, but my database is portuguese, how do I translate into my language project (portuguese)?

When not appear soon in English texts, any help is welcome.

Hi Alexander,

I was Google it a problem and i found you talking something about that.

Where I’m working they provided me ARIS Designer with English language as filter, so I design process in Spanish with that filter. Then I had to translate the process to English, but this time was with Spanish filter, so I design the process in different language filters. (database language)

So, it´s the same problem.

can you give me the solution with details please?? I'm a bit new in ARIS
