Is there no way of changing the layout procedure for a model in ARIS Designer/Architect? I want to manage my eERM attribute allocation-derived models, but seem to be stuck on only applying the Central object layout procedure, instead of trying e.g. the directed graph layout.
Any plans for looking over the whole layout functionality in ARIS Designer/Architect, or is that something that might be prioritized in ARIS Connect Designer instead?

the only way to choose the layout algorithm for a custom model type is to derive it from a model type that has got the desired layout algorithm.
And I agree with André, please create a Brainstorm feature request regarding this, as soon as Brainstorm is available again.

Maybe you could try to use some template to handle the configuration for models that you want, but the 'layout' will be like 'standard' ... no big changes in general.
I don't heard something regarding layout functionality to be different for next releases, usually customer could suggest functionality to the Brainstorm channel of the Portal but this is not available for a while maybe next month.
