Some of you may like this solution that I have developed for a client. This is a very simple solution to create a linear relationship between strategy (goals and objectives), KPIs and business processes. Here are the basics
• Strategic Initiatives are supported by Business Objectives • Business Objectives are measured through KPIs • KPIs are generated using “current” and “past” data using IT systems • Data is captured from Business Processes • Smaller KPIs roll into larger enterprise KPIs • Every KPI has one primary owner and multiple secondary owner Business often wants to see an objective and then with 3 clicks they want to see all the processes that needs to be monitored to support the objective and how to measure the objective. This presentation shows you how to do it easily using "ARIS Business Designer". We have to rememeber that like there are multiple levels of business processes similarly there are multiple levels of objectives and multiple levels of KPIs. These decompositions often happen together. (Conceptual to logical to physical) For KPIs you can have many attributes and I have provided some example too. The Customer already had the KPIs, their consultant came up with the objectives and we (from SAG) were developing the processes so our job was to bring everything together. One customer that we did not expect was the BI group because they need to know about the processes and strategy when developing all the data warehouses. This solution proved to be perfect for them. But this was just accidental. I think all of you will enjoy the presentation. here is an update: all the models shown here can be done using the KPI allocation diagram2 Replies

Nice document!
I just want to know wich type of model did you use in the Datail of KPI. Did you modify filters or use default configuration?
