Hi all,
Any idea how I can display an alternate name for document hyperlinks? e.g. I have a 100 character string linking to a document on a shared drive, and the full path name displays when I use the 'Link1' attribute.
I want to display the attribute in a header bar on the model with a name of 'Procedure Note', but still have the hyperlinking available.
I tried the 'title 1' attribute that seemed to be linked to the 'link 1' attribute, but with no luck.
Any ideas...?
Thanks
Pete

Hi Pete
The Link 1 and Title 1 attributes are indeed linked. If you enter a link address in the Link attribute and place the attribute on the model then by default it will display the full link (i.e. the URL) as you have found. However, if you enter the text you actually want to see in the Title attribute then it will automatically be displayed instead of the link details (you don’t have to make the Title attribute visible). If you just want to see the windows icon that represents the link, but don’t want any text at all, then just enter a space into the title attribute.
