I wanted to share a resource I’ve created for anyone exploring process mining or looking to dig deeper into their claims management workflows.

It’s a realistic event log designed around a typical insurance claims process — including common challenges like SLA violations, rework, back-and-forth loops, and bottlenecks.

To complement it, I also created a Quick-Start Use Case Handbook that breaks down:

  • Process inefficiencies (e.g., missed deadlines, resubmissions)
  • KPIs (e.g., approval time, touchpoints, ratio of escalated claims)
