I am new to Aris world . I want to create a Data Model where the data elements are the documents and each document sits in one of the many IT systems. I am not able to link/associate data elements (Technical terms as I am using techincal terms model) to IT systems. Any help on this is much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I was not clear on explaining my problem. I need to incorporate which system each data element (Enitity / Cluster/Technical Term ) comes from . For example if suppose enitiy "Purchase order" resides in a system called "Purchase" I need to show that link (Like an attribute of purchase order) thats because in the end when I run the report show all the data elements present in "purchase" it should list "purchase order" and other data elements linked to "purchase". I apprecaite any help on this.

I'm not sure where or how you are trying to make the link. In the Access Diagram you can link Technical terms to Application System Type objects with the connection type "uses". If you are trying to add your IT Systems to the data model directly that won't work. You can however assign a data model to an Application System Type which might also meet your needs.
