I selected "create model" and event-driven process chain and giving the new model a name.
However, under start no symbols appear.
How can I draw the event-driven process chain? What did I do wrong?

Dear Reinhard,
please make sure that the "Symbols" bar is active. You can activate the bar when you click on the "Symbols" icon on the right.
