thank you for your answer. Suddently that is not what i'm searching for. With "Model-to-execute" you can create models in ARIS, transfer them to WebMethods and create a workflow, right? 

In ARIS itself i'm creating a governance process which is automated in ARIS. In this process i want to start a workflow in webmethods automatically. This way, half of the automation is within ARIS and the other half within WebMethods. 

I need to do it that way, because you can't lock or change specific models, that are stored in ARIS, with WebMethods, can you?

Hello Richard,

We have implemented what you are looking for in different tools (except WebMethod but I guess similar concept could be used). For governance processes in ARIS, a good tool is ARIS Governance Engine as it allows just that and it can be adjusted to many complex forms of validation, review, processing, .... It is great, tightly integrated with ARIS modeling&document capabilities and fast to deploy.

We have also implemented an "outside" governance process using Activity (and some variant of it) as it is an open source workflow. The integration with ARIS was done using the report API of ARIS where we would trigger any processing needed during the validation process.
