Hello folks,
The ARIS application is running on windows 2008 on Oracle 11.2 g database; the database, Business server, and business publisher are running each on a different server.
I tested the following
1. Database, ARIS Service Enabling 1.0, ARIS Business Server 7.2, ARIS Business Publisher Server 7.2 are running, it is possible to view the business publishers content and to connect to the ARIS server via business architect.
2. I shutdown the database and stop the listener -> as expecting it is not possible to connect to the server in business architect, also connecting to business publisher is not possible.
3. I start database and listener -> database is up and listener works, yet the ARIS connections do not work
4. I restart all three services ARIS Service Enabling 1.0, ARIS Business Server 7.2, ARIS Business Publisher Server 7.2, now connections are possible.
Now my question: Is there anything one can configure that it is not necessary to restart the ARIS services after a restart of the database?
