Training & Certification in ARIS

I want my team to be certified in ARIS.

As per my knowledge the only certification on ARIS available from SAG is 'ARIS Certified Business Process Administrator' and this is on ARIS version 7.2.

Now with the advent of ARIS 9, I want to know the effectiveness of this certification 'ARIS (7.2) Certified Business Process Administrator'

Please share your views and thoughts on this.

Also thinking if we need to be certified why not get acquainted with the latest one, here ARIS9. Any idea on when the certification on ARIS9 would be available

Yes currently ARIS certification is only for ARIS 7.2; having focus on ARIS methodology, ARIS Architect and Designer and process governance topics, Modeling, Versioning, Import and Export, Evaluations, Database Mgmt, Configuration of ARIS.

More info about ARIS (7.2) Certified Business Process Administrator

ARIS Platform products covered under this certification are: ARIS Architect and Designer, ARIS Business Server, ARIS Publisher and ARIS Process Governance.

One important point in this certification is: it is not covering ARIS for SAP topic; which was already available in previous ARIS 7.1 certifications.

This certification helps the consultant to prove his/her ARIS skill that they know ARIS base although ARIS 9 has introducted new look-&-feel, ARIS connect & some extra features like- BPMN 2 sync for A4SAP. As per keynote at Innovation world 2013, Software AG has announced to launch ARIS updates/versions/releases twice per year. So obviously it is dificult to have latest certification exam on each & every new version/release. I am sure Software AG will try to introduce ARIS 9 certifications soon, including ARIS Connect, ARIS4SAP, ARIS PPM & GRC. //Yubhesh

Thanks for the details.

Is there any authorised training cum certification center in Bangalore, India?

I tried to contact apac-training@softwareag.com, but did not get any response from them in past three months even after three follow up. Please guide me.. the certification is much needed for me.
