Well the core concept of modeling is to re-use the symbols and object already created.

For instance, you open up a model and then you want to have a list of symbols already defined within database and you also want to enter some search criteria. In the image below you only want those symbols to be retrieved that are allowed by the model type.

Let say you only want to retrieve Cluster-Changed symbol type objects already present in the database (object definitions) and reused them as occurrences.

Now you will be presented with a list of object definition already exists in database of Symbol Type (Cluster-Changed) and with name satisfying search string *Data

Now you can select the object definition and can also know the group-path if you click on the selected object definition

 

Now select the object definition to be reused and you will get the object occurrences of selected object definition:
