Anbody know?
How does one mark a font as the master font for consolidation? I've checked all the literature and it says one must do this but nowhere can I find how it is done. I am logged in as a system user so I do have font management privileges.

Hello Sam,
it is possible to consolidate fonts, but this brings potentially high risk (all attribute accurances which are using the source font might be changed) so the functionality is not offered via UI. The only way to consolidate fonts, but focused on a special use case, is with a standard report. This report consolidates all fonts of a database into one. This makes sense after merging different databases with different fonts together to one.
I found that our help in this point is not optimal structured. If you search the topic via the find-tab in the help the context for the help text is missing and you cannot see that you have to start a report. The help will be extended at this point.
You have to do the following things: First you have to maintain at the font object the attribute "Master font format". After that select the database node in the explorer and run the report ""Consolidate font formats. But be sure that the report is really supporting your requirement, after running the report only one font will be available (that one with the maintained attribute).
