I've been using ARIS Express 2.3 for some time in my office where I do have LAN connection and I do not care too much about network traffic but ...
Whenever I launch ARIS Express, before starting it has to download about 50MB from http://download.ariscommunity.com site!? I'm asking myself why I need to download something of 50MB each time? Am I doing something wrong? Is this the ususal behaviour with ARIS Express?
You have more chance than me.
It downloads 139 MB 2 times = 278 MB at each launch!!! And my SDSL is 1 Mb/s.
I check that ARIS application is inside Java cache before running.
Perhaps because I have installed 32 and 64 bits Java RE 6.0.37 ?
Java cache availability is 512 MB and ARIS is the only Java WS inside.
I wait for Java 7 compatibility. Then if it still same hell, ARIS will die in trash.
