Hi there!

I have problems with the sorting of the attributes when creating a web-export for the Business Publisher (ARIS 7.1 SR 2010_07). I use an evaluation filter where the exact sequence of the attributes for an EPC model is determined. I use this evaluation filter when creating my web-export. I also use the setting "methodic sorting of attributes" when creating the web-export but this has no effect on the sorting. When I use "alphabetical sorting" it works, but if I choose to sort the attributes by method it doesn't. Does anybody has a clue about this issue or is it a known problem?

In SR2010_09 (cf. release newsletter) the option "Select object information" was deleted from the export configuration dialog, but I cannot say whether SR9 sorts object attributes methodically now.

Thanks for your comment. I also read it in the newsletter, but we would be forced to update to the latest release to test this. Do you have the latest release installed? And if so, does the sorting of the attributes work correctly?

Hello Markus,

we try to pick the best service release with improvements only suitable to our needs once a year. Now we are on SR2010_06 and live with the attribute sorting bug. I have not tried SR9 yet. Better check with IDS support if the update is worth the pain.

Hello!

Yes, I agree that this is the best approach to deal with the update problems. I even did not get any response from the ARIS Support nor our sales person of IDS if it is a bug or not. So even a Yes/No question is not answered by IDS. I will try the latest version of ARIS today on our test server to make sure if this "bug" is fixed or not.

please understand that you did not get an answer from Global Support ARIS because your company does not have a valid support contract. As far as I am informed a corresponding offer exists in your company.
