Detailed documentation on the APIs of ARIS can be found in the ARIS 7.1 help. See main menu "Help -> ARIS Script".

Using scripting you can easily export data to other systems. You can use the provided reports as an example how to use the API. To integrate ARIS "from outside" you can use "scriptrunner" tool (see installation path / server / scriptrunner.bat).

The ARIS ERD is not part of the public API. Further the ERD can change and is therefore not really useful to realize an integration with other systems.

it is very unlikely to happen. As Jens said, doing reporting directly on the database level is no good idea at all. That's why ARIS has included a WYSIWYG report designer and a scripting language. You can create a report within minutes with those tools. Doing the same directly on database level would take you several days.

Currently we are trying to generate a customized document/report for our client about the BPM model of their system. I checked In business designer 7.1 but was not able to find an option to customize the report.

Could you please let me know how to access WYSIWYG report designer in ARIS?

The WYSIWYG Editor and report editing in general is only available in the ARIS Business Architect. The Designer products are meant for end-users not going to administer a database like creating reports or filters.

Hi there,

I need to call scripts automatically from outside Aris.
I tried to use the scriptrunner.bat file, but it seems to be missing. Is it normal that an installation of SOA Architect 7.1 doesn't contain the scriptrunner.bat file? (Btw, the scriptrunner.cfg template is present)? I reinstalled from scratch, also tried to install other product familiy members like Toolset etc, but never found scriptrunner.bat anywhere in the file system.
Has anyone had this problem already?

Hi,

Someone have any scriptrunner.cfg example to share. I am trying to run it but I am getting an error. To give you a context I am trying to run a report at DB level.
