Profile picture for user shameem

Hello Everybody,

I attached a PDF file in an EPC and then published the model.

In ARIS Business Publisher I can see the PDF icon but when I click on the icon an empty webpage is displayed.

I then created a link to the EPC model in ARIS Business Architect (Navigation Pane of ABA). again I can see the link in ABP but the link does not work and display only an empty webpage.

Grateful if anyboby has some tips for me.

Thanks beforehand

Cheers

Hello Mariya,

I created a 'test' profile containing all of the following:

Name:

  Publisher Export Profile

Description:

  Created by SHAETO on 23.09.2009

Use print scale:

  Yes

Initial scaling:

  100

Scalings:

  25

  50

  75

  125

  150

  200

  225

Black and white:

  No

Transparent:

  No

Model sorting:

  Sort ascending

Object sorting:

  Sort ascending

Attribute sorting:

  Sort by method

Link attributes:

  System attribute 'Link 1': Yes

  System attribute 'Link 2': Yes

  System attribute 'Link 3': Yes

  System attribute 'Link 4': Yes

  User attribute 'Link 1': Yes

  E-mail address: Yes

  Home page: Yes

  Picture: Yes

  User attribute 'Link 2': Yes

  User attribute 'Link 3': Yes

  User attribute 'Link 4': Yes

  User attribute 'Link 5': Yes

  User attribute 'Link 6': Yes

SAP user attribute 'Link 1': Yes

SAP user attribute 'Link 2': Yes

SAP user attribute 'Link 3': Yes

SAP user attribute 'Link 4': Yes

SAP user attribute 'Link 5': Yes

  Reference (link): Yes

System attribute 'DMS link 1': Yes

System attribute 'DMS link 2': Yes

System attribute 'DMS link 3': Yes

System attribute 'DMS link 4': Yes

Copy documents:

  Yes

Temporary file names:

  Yes

Then I used the "System attribute 'Link 1" to insert the path where the PDF is kept.

Moreover I discovered something. As I am also our MS SharePoint Admin, I created a library in SharePoint where I kept all the PDF. Strange enough when I call for the PDF from ABP, the right document is displayed. Meaning there must be something wrong with the repository where I kept the PDF before. But what I see strange is that the folder in which I kept the PDF at start, is a shared one with full access to 'Everybody'.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers

Hello Shameem.

Since you are publishing with "yes" in the "copy document" parameter, the system will transfer your PDF file to the same area as the Business Publisher Data. You probably have no access rights to that area. Now you have 2 options:

1 - Establish the correct rights for the Business Publisher Data area or

2- Set the parameter in the profile to "no" and the system will access the PDF from the original lopcation.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
