SQ

Hi

I wish to use formulae in the table view of my queries. The standard formulae (eg query attribute and so on) are easy to understand. I was also able to use the simple operators such as =COUNT.

However, even something as straightforward as the =IF is tricky. I cannot find a syntax that does not create an ERROR. for example, I tried =IF(g7="mytext";1;0) and it failed... I assume the conditional part is the problem but I cannot see how to make it any simpler.

I have been unable to find any guidance / information regrading formula use... here or in the system help. Please advise where the query formulae are documented.

Thanks, Simon

Hi Simon,

The syntax is a bit tricky. For some reason it requires two "=". To give you an example:

=IF(G2=="1";"ok";A12)

Does that help?

Best,

Veronika
