Looking for advice please:
I am modelling a process where information packs are issued to our customers. Using Business Rules, the pack is either issued directly by us or customer information is passed to a mailing house, who issue the pack on our behalf.
Should I model the information pack message flow from Mailing House to our Customer (both are black box pools in my diagram)?

Hello Ann,
I would not make assumptions about things happening between entities outside my organization. But if it helps you to understand the effect of delivering data to the mailing house - it's up to you. But I think it is unnecessary work and maintenance. Don't model the world, but your business.
Maybe the mailing house one day offers the information for download by the intended customers and you won't even notice the change, but the communication pattern between the external entities changes.
