I’m facing an issue while installing ARIS 7.2 Business Server.
The documentation says ARIS supports Oracle DB and I’m using Oracle 11g with SID ‘orcl’.
I’m using the user defined approach of installing the ARIS components and have selected ‘Configure and connect existing Oracle Database Instance’. I do not find an option to provide SID of the oracle and I only find Service Name.
I enter my SID in place of Service and I get the below issue when I proceed -
Log in to Oracle Database Server FAILED
Privileges for the current Oracle Database Server account FAILED
Oracle Database Server version FAILED
Oracle Database Server charset (AL32UTF8) FAILED
Oracle Database Server 'job_queue_processes' FAILED
I’m able to connect to my oracle db using SQL developer and the same credentials and configuration parameters.Any inputs with this regards would be greatly appreciated.
