Does anyone know if we can set up scheduled jobs to do a nightly run of Aris synchronization to solution manager and have logs created to check the next day .

You can schedule the bat file "y-ldapsync" which is available on the tool folder of umcadmin runnable. In case you can schedule using the operation system and logs will be available in umc folder as well.
