The good thing about our "Give me the iPod" contest is that employees of IDS Scheer and Software AG are allowed to participate. So I will do that and hope none of you will upload any models ;-)
The model shows the ARIS Platform and I submit the model in the category "BPM is useful". I used a "system landscape" diagram to give you an overview of the different ARIS Platform products. As you can see from the model, the ARIS Platform comprises 4 parts, namely: Controlling, Design, Implementation, and Strategy. Each part consists of several concrete products, which you can buy or get for free as in case of ARIS Express.
A system landscape model can be used for different purposes. If you wear software engineering glasses, you would probably call it a component model to describe a high-level view on your software or component architecture. If you are an IT architect, you would probably use this kind of model to group similar IT systems in domains so that you can easily spot where you still have some redundancy in your IT portfolio.
If you select one of the objects representing a product and click the F7 key, your browser will open the belonging product page. So I guess our marketing folks will be happy with my model, too, and vote for it, don't they?
