Hi guys, how you doing?

I did a full installation of PPM5 in my local desktop with the default client as a demo ("umg_en") without problems, but when i tried to create a Management View ppm is showing the below Tomcat error, even when i execute PPM from the GUI and not from The URL.

Do you have any idea of what can be this?

Hi Facundo, the installation of "old" 5.x version of PPM is quite difficult even in the demo installation if you do it for very first time (in comparison to new 9.x ) and requires some steps prior the installation itself (as an installation of tomcat(s), database environment preparation and so on). During installation you are asked to fill many entries referring to some paths + ports (tomcat, drivers and so on) and you can easily go wrong there, especially if you don´t understand the ppm architecture. And to be honest some descriptions there are quite confusing which it makes even more difficult for newbies. Anyway it can be fixed later in config files. 

 I´d need to see and "browse" the installation to be sure the all part of ppm infrastructure works or see all log files at least, otherwise is hard to say more.  

But let´s assume you have installed it correctly. 

Quick debug:

0) Have you ticked both API query interface and APD in wizard while creating the umg_en client ?

1) Does the API query work for you? (e.g. if you copy a ppm-favorite´s url and paste it in a browser, does it work?)

2) Have you re-registered Tomcat as a service after creating the umg_en demo client? 

Unfortunately the pic is too small to see all the details, but it points to an issue with tomcat. It would be great if you could collect all log files and provide us with them instead of one pic.

first of all thank you very much for your quick response :)

The MV use the API query for this? because i had some issues with it, probably is there the problem. I will check and let you know!
