Lead Business Systems Analyst – 24 Months Mexico City

As part of the continuing technical assistance which Crown Agents provides we are seeking to identify suitably qualified consultants who would be interested in a long term consultancy assignment in Mexico City In particular we are looking for individuals with the following experience:
MAIN JOB PURPOSE
To investigate and document business requirements and to design solution components within the defined architecture, using UML standards. To provide business and systems analysis inputs to the investigation, analysis, design, development and implementation of the specific software solution.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
Project
- Contribute business and technical inputs as required
- Review proposals for technical adherence to Terms of Reference Management
- Participate in the definition and adherence to Crown Agents quality standards and strategies
- Ensure business analysis development work conforms to agreed quality standard through the use of review and sign-off processes
- Supervise team members and contractors Technical Delivery
- Conduct feasibility studies, requirement gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and other analysis activities to provide input to the technology direction for software implementation. Actively contribute to the development of the design and technical strategy for the project.
- Prepare test criteria and test scenarios
- Maintain and build technical knowledge and skills through Continuous Professional Development, training and industry awareness Business Systems Analysis and Design Produce complete OO designs using UML together with accompanying specifications.
Specific tasks will include:
- Liaison with stakeholders to clarify and confirm requirements
- Business and Systems Analysis keeping a tight control of scope
- Use Cases & Activity Diagrams o Class Diagrams o State Chart Diagrams o Sequence Diagrams o Logical Data Models o UI design
- Production of functional specifications
- Production of interface designs and specifications
- Production of testing documentation
- Act as a technical expert for development team on design and architecture
- Any other duties as appropriate to the position, as requested
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Must have Certification in BPA/ARIS IDS Scheer AG v7.1 Graduate in IT or Business Management Typically 5+ years experience in business systems analysis Use of IT in Public Sector, ITC policy, systems design and architecture Diagnostic and analytical skills related to business processes. Experience of working overseas in difficult environments an advantage Knowledge of Spanish/Portuguese highly desirable.
