Hello all,
NOTE :- I haven't upgraded my Designer server to 9.8 !!!
I am trying to add my Publisher 9.8 server to my Designer 9.7, and i am getting this error
"The procedure was cancelled" after i finish adding the server and creating its profile.
Please find the error attached along.
Can somebody let me know, is this to do with the version mismatch between Designer and Publisher ?

Be advised that Software AG strongly recommends to always use the very same version of different ARIS products. That counts for server and clients, too.
I suggest to update ARIS Designer Server regularly due to bug fixes and functional improvements. ARIS 9.7 had GA in Oct 2014, and its latest service release, 9.7 SR3, became available in May 2015. Currently, ARIS 9.8 SR5 is available.

I am not sure whether this is due to version mismatch, but this error may occur because of the database connectivity. first check database connection is proper or not. then every time try to create export with different name. if old export is exist into the database then you will not be able to create the export with the same name.
