Hello all

The ability to customize model and object types in ARIS 7.1 is swell.

By deriving original models and objects definitions and associating custom symbols, we can customize models dedicated to a non-standard purpose: for instance to represent career paths with skills and competency models associated to the different jobs.

However this great feature is defeated by the fact we cannot create custom relations across objects.

Although an unused relationship can be renamed to a more meaningful name, this can disturb other models and conflict with future ARIS model distribution.

Also the "Search" in the Publisher is based upon original names and not the custom ones, which  can confuse users.

Is there any suggestions to overcome this limitation ?

Is the concept of user-defined relationships supported in a current or future ARIS release?

Bgrds,
