Hello,
I met a problem while installing ARIS 9 Client for my studies in UTT (University of Technology of Troyes, France).
In fact, when I start the setup, after few seconds, I have an error window appearing with "IDS_BADSIGN_ABORT" as message, and then the process just stops.
I tried to pick up a classmate's version - who could have installed it normally - and I still have the same error window.
I need to know if it means i just cannot install the software or if there is something i can do to fix it.
FYI : I have the configuration required for this soft (>8Go RAM + 2 Cores + Windows 8.1)

Hi,
this is to inform people with similar issues about the found solution.
Problem: Error "IDS_BADSIGN_ABORT" = "The setup source path contains spaces or invalid characters, such as: '_ ()[]} \\\\ & § $ % = ` . ;'. This installation will be aborted."
-> The user used the install path "C:\Users\Théo\..." which contained an "é".
Solution: The user used the install path "C:\" instead.

Dear Paulina,
if you are experiencing the same problem as Théo, it might be because there are "forbitten" characters in your installation path. Have a look at this FAQ entry.
In order to avoid the error, please enter "C:/" when asked to select a folder where you would like to install ARIS.
