I have the need to flag functions, events, systems, etc with an attribute that we can run a report on at any time. I.e. if the object affects revenue generation, I'd create some type of tag that will allow us to create a report that identifies each within the database.
Has anyone done this?
Sure, just use one of the existing object attributes or create a new one.

Having never done this before, how can I create a drop down list of user defined attributes that can be added to a locations such as "ARIS Free Attributes"? We have several selections choices in mind so the drop down would be great.

that is done in the administration module of ARIS Business Architect, but please read the documentation how to do it.
