Allocating costs for the whole day

Thank you very much for your quick reply. These workarounds sound good, but as you already said it's all in all very inconvenient. Sometimes I'm wondering why the Business Simulator is still so basic :(

The costing in ARIS Business Simulator is activity based and as far as I know there are no top-down allocation options. May be the solution is to make your calculations with ARIS Business Optimizer and change the rule set as required.

There are many workarounds of course. You can have one parallel activity started by an event with <frequency, daily = "1"> or specific instantiation plan as appropriate. However, costs appear only in the process detailed statistics and are missing in the process cumulative statistics. That might cause some inconvenience.

So far I haven't used simulation experiments for cost calculation but I imagine that could be helpful in your case as well.

I'm curious to learn if there is better solution. Hope some more experienced with simulation to join this discussion.
